Description
Color: Uniform whitish.

Shell large, very flat, thin, rounded and translucent, with a characteristic brittle texture; valves fragile; inner surface is smooth, glossy and pearly; adductor impression at center of the valve; umbo small and inconspicuous; two thin ridge-like teeth diverging from the umbo at a narrow angle; outer surface has fine sculpture consisting of minute radial striae.
