Size: 3-11 mm

Rostrum shorter, but slightly longer than ophthalmic scales. Antennular peduncle shorter than the antennal peduncle. Antennal acicle indistinctly bifurcate and the outer prong does not reach the base of the terminal joint of the peduncle. Antennal flagellum thickly setose. In the left cheliped, the palm is broader than long.
