Size (Zooecium): Length 420-520 µ; breadth 310-375 µ.

Encrusting. Zoarium forms a unilaminar flat, glistening white encrustation over the substratum. Zooecia arranged in longitudinal rows, separated by thin mural rims that are denticulate. Zooecia elliptical, but often vary from normalcy. Gymnocyst wanting. Cryptocyst well developed, extending moderately, laterally and distally. Proximal region of the cryptocyst extend into the aperture as a flat, somewhat coarse, horizontal lamina, raised at the distal end and provided with spines and spinules. Two comparatively long spines occupy the latero-distal corners of the horizontal lamina. Two small spines are present on the lateral side of the aperture, at the position of the cardelles. Opesia partly trifoliate, the opesiules small, their proximal and lateral sides bordered by the cryptocyst with spinules. Avicularia and ovicells not noticed.
