Size (Zooecium): Length 375 µ; breadth 110 µ.

Colonies form thin encrusting irregular patches over the substratum. Zooecia long and elliptical with thick margins and separated by furrows. Gymnocyst well developed showing calcareous striations with a broad calcareous tubercle and a chitinous spine connected to the tubercle. Cryptocyst evanescent, vestigial with granulations and minute tubercles projecting into the opesia. Apertural field slightly reduced by the cryptocyst, opesia oval. Operculum membraniporine with thick chitinous margins. Avicularia and ovicells absent.
