Size (Zooecium): Length: 380 µ (max. 515 µ) (min. 245 µ); Breadth: 75 µ.

Attached to the substratum by the long, delicate and transparent portion of the zooecium. The tubular annulated peristome gradually expands to a non-annulated region with the frontal membrane and distally placed operculum. The terminal part of the epristome slightly bent. The rim of the operculum slightly thickened.

Hermaphroditic. Reproduction is sexual and asexual; bryozoan colonies consist of replicated series of zooids, each budded asexually from a predecessor. The founding zooid metamorphoses from the sexually produced larva.
