Carapace broader than long, surface grooved and areolated, gooves always smooth, areolate tubercular or hairy. Gastric and cardiac aerolae very distinct, two lateral areolae zigzag. Outer orbital corner spine like, acute. Outer surface of wrist and palm of chela and fingers closely covered with bubble like granules; on fingers these granules arranged in ridges. Cutting edge to dactylus of male only, with a large thin teeth. Merii of legs with tympanum, sternal tympana absent. The distal end of 4th abdominal joint fringed with thick and long bristles.
