Color: Muddy gray, a dark red oval spot on the middle of abdominal segment (Chhapgar and Deshmukh, 1961).

Body moderately depressed, sub-cylindrical, no flagellum on exopodite of third maxilliped, rostrum short and truncate; a single ridge on dorsal surface of proximal antennal squame; a deep triangular notch on anterior extremity of sternum; third pair of thoracic legs not sub-cheliform; squamiform sculpture on abdominal terga which are not deeply sulcate, dactylus of second pair of legs longer and more slender than those of the first; four teeth at the end of calcified portion of telson.
