Habits: Not recorded in India.

Sexes alike, smaller than Asian Dowitcher, bill straight, long and greenish, upperparts whitish, legs greyish green. In flight, underwings lightly barred. Non-breeding (winter): Breast and upperparts slightly darker, grey breast and white belly relatively distinct.
