Size: Height 25.30 - 33.80 mm, length 41.60 - 55.90 mm, maximum diameter 29.70 - 39.75 mm.

Color: Shell is cream or light-fawn with brown spots and short axial streaks or brown patches with white V-shaped markings, sometimes they are dark-brown and maculated with white blotches, edge of the outer lip brown.

Shell is thick, ovate, ventricose, inflated, spire short; penultimate whorl bears intermediate threads; sculptured with 6-7 main spiral cords, body whorl with 21 to 22 flat closest ribs; intercostal spaces between main ribs on the upper part of the body whorl twin grooved with a single narrow thread; aperture widely open; outer lip fluted and toothed; columella with a sharp callus folded over deep umbilicus; anterior siphonal fasciole twisted.
