Size: Medium, total length up to 105mm.

Color: Pale yellow, dorsal part of the body and tail fan greyish-purple.

Eye small with cornea bilobed and slightly narrower than eyestalk. Carapace and dorsal surface of abdomen densely covered with rough mesh-like reticulated carinae. Carapace with normal complement of carinae, but confused by reticulations. Raptorial claw dactylus with 6 teeth. 5th thoracic somite with lateral process bilobed, short and sharp. 6th thoracic somite with lateral process bilobed and broadly rounded. 7th thoracic somite with anterior lateral process short and sharp; with posterior lateral process broad and round. Abdominal somites with normal complement of carinae. Telson with rows of curved supplementary carinae.
