Description
Color: Carapace uniformly orange-brown but for light grey band along frontal margin and a thin, threadlike orange line bordering rims of carapace and chelipeds. A dark spot on propordal articulation.
Chelipeds smooth or microscopically granular. Pereiopods evenly colored but for dark spot on propodal articulation. Carapace rounded. Endopod of first maxilliped spatulate. A thin orange line rims carapace and chelipeds.
Carapace trapezoid. Frontal margin arched, evenly and minutely dentate, imperceptibly separated from minutely denticulate superior orbital angle. Postorbital angle prominent. Lower margin of antennular fossa sinuous. Anterior margin of buccal frame sinous. Distal half of endopod of first maxilliped nearly rectangular, anterior margin bearing few short setae. Anterior margin of cheliped merus minutely dentate distally, not crested. First male pleopod curved, tapering distally. Distal quarter fringed with uneven setae.
Obligate symbionts of Acropora corals.
