Size: Length 28.9 - 42.5 µm; Width 17.9 - 23.5 µm.

Elongated body, with almost parallel margins and truncated posterior end. There is a great variation in shape and size of the macronucleus which may be oval or elongated, lying in the median part of the body. The macronucleus measures 8.5 - 17.0 µm in length and 5.8 - 11.9 µm in width. The micronucleus is spherical in shape and measures approximately 1.7 - 3.4 µm in diameter. Contractle vacuole is in the posterior part of the body. The length of cilia are regionally different. The cytostome measures 5.1 - 8.5 µm in length and 3.4 - 8.5 µm in width and is situated far back. There are 20 - 24 kineties, 9 - 11 on the right and 10 - 14 on the left side.
