Description
Size: Length 27.2 - 44.2 µm; Width 8.5 - 11.9 µm

Macronucleus is rounded, slightly elongated, 5.1 - 10.2 µm * 5.1 - 8.5 µm lies just above the posterior third of the body. Micronucleus spherical and measures 1.7 µm in diameter, lying posterior to the macronucleus. Contractile vacuole in the posterior third of the body. The ciliature consists of 12 to 14 kineties. The central thigmotactic complex embraces 5 kineties, more or less equal and reaching almost the posterior extremity of the body; on the left 3 - 4, on the right 4 - 5 kineties, gradually becoming elongated and buckled.
