Description
Size: Length 28.9 - 47.6 µm; Width 8.5 -13.6 µm

Body is elongated, slightly buckled. Macronucleus is elongated (15.3 - 27.2 µm), occupies nearly half of the body length; macronucleus is spindle-shaped or spherical (0.85 - 3.40 µm). Contractile vacuole in the posterior half of the body. Kineties form two systems, a left thigmotactic system consisting of 11 kineties with a distance of 0.85 µm between them and a right system of 7 - 9 kineties with a distance of 1.7 µm. Thigmotactic ciliary rows are almost straight but the other kineties slightly curved posteriorly; all the kineties end at about a distance of one fifth of the body length from the posterior side.
