Description
Size: Length of carapace (without rostrum) 25 mm; breadth of carapace 20 mm; length of rostrum 11 mm; length of cheliped 36 mm; length of second walking leg 50 mm.

Color: Ashy grey

Gastric region of carapace without tubercles. No intestinal spine. Carapace elongate-ovate, its surface smooth and polished anteriorly, finely granulose posteriorly and with scattered tufts of hairs. The rostrum is formed by two parallel spines, the tips of which are somewhat incurved, and the length of which is about one-sixth that of the carapace proper. The legs are tomentose with additional long scattered setae. The chelipeds small, slender, equal in size, covered with scattered long stout hairs. The first ambulatory legs are markedly the longest, being half again as long as the carapace and rostrum. The dactyli are short, recurved and serrated posteriorly.
