Description
Chelipeds very slender with long narrow palms and short fingers, which gap very slightly.

Carapace subpyriform and convex. Supra ocular eave very prominent. Post-ocular spine, or lobe, large and excavated. The rostrum consists of two usually long slender divergent spines. Eye-stalk short, retractile against the post-ocular lobe, but never to the complete concealment of cornea. Merus of external maxillipeds as broad as, or broader than the ischium, expanded at the antero-extetnal angle.
