Description

Colonial ascidian. This variety has the same anatomical characters in Symplegma viride. It differs from it in the color, nature of stolon and arrangemnet of zooids. The color of the zooid is orange, stolons are longer and zooids are attached at wide intervals from one another. The zooids remain in an erect position, and so the branchial sac, intestine and associated structures are vertically disposed and not slanting.
