Description

Colonial ascidian, zooids arising from long branchial stolons spread out in the substratum. Zooids are small, pale, semi-transparent, slightly compressed from side to side, size, 3.5-4 mm. Tentacles are simple. Dorsal lamina contains 3 simple languets. Four rows of stigmata. Internal longitudinal vessels represented by simple or bifid papillae. Heart is on the right side of the branchial sac. Gonads are within the intestinal loop.
