Description
Size: 4.62 cm * 2.87 cm * 1.15 cm

Color: Brown, translucent

Compound ascidians, zooids embedded in common test. Colony is roughly rectangular. System is irregular with common cloacal openings. Test is soft, gelatinous and smooth. Mantle is transparent with 6-8 pairs of longitudinal muscle bands of different sizes. Zooids are large with thorax, abdomen and post-abdomen. 13 rows of stigmata, each with 13 elliptical stigmata. Branchial siphon is six-lobed, atrial siphon, a small round opening having a leaf-like languet with pointed extremity. Tentacles are simple. Dorsal lamina contains a series of languets. Stomach is smooth-walled. Abdomen contains gonads and U-shaped heart at the posterior end.
