Size: Length 15-30 mm.

Color: De-colored in spirit.

Branchiae from setiger 2 to the last setiger. Setae of last few setigers longer than those of preceding setigers. 33 to 38 setigerous segments. Gills from the 2nd setigerous segment to the last one. 10-12 pairs of lateral eyes from about the 7th setigerous segment. Anal funnel long, compressed, slantingly cleft, fringed with long ventral cirrus having 12 fine papillae. A long median anal cirrus.
