Description
Tentacular lobe very short and collar-shaped with numerous long tentacles and few eye-spots. Two pairs of branced gills on segments 3 and 7. No lateral lobes on the first few segments. Notosetae start on segment 4 and continue for a variable number of segments, with serrated blades. Uncini avicular, start on segment 5 and set in double rows, face to face from segment 10.
