Description
Stem jointed, outer bark is black. Leaves more or less lanceolate in shape with crenulate margins. Flowers fine, present in scales of one-like spikes white and yellow cat-kin like structure. A round, green, hard capsular fruit contains many hairy seeds and produces a toxic latex.
