Size: Length 20-50 mm.

Color: Pale yellowish brown, with sometimes streaks of small brown dots on the back of anterior segments.

Body short, slender. Pharynx long with an anterior tooth. Anterior and posterior setae with finely serrated, bidentate blades, replaced by 2-3 stout Y-shaped simple setae in middle setigers. Dorsal cirri short, cylindrical or fusiform, with alternately 7-8 and 10-12 articles. anterior and posterior setae compound; in the middle region of the body, large simple, crutch-like setae.
