Description
Trees, 10-15 m tall, small buttressed. Stem base with pointed pneumatophores. Leaves with two pairs of leaflets; leaflets elliptic-oblong, apex rounded. Flowers in axillary thyrses, white with a reddish gland inside; calyx 4-lobed; petals 4; free. Fruits globose, obscurely 4-lobed.

Flowering season: February-May; Fruiting season: May-August
