Description
Size: Length 0.4 – 0.5 mm.

Body linear and fusiform, with distinct demarcation between metasome and urosome, widest at the posterior end of cephalothorax. Anal operculum lacking. Abdomen with bands of pustules. Caudal ramus as long as wide with 2 developed apical setae. Rostrum distinct and pointed anteriorly. Antennule 6-segmented with an aesthete on fourth segment. Exopod of antenna 3-segmented, the middle segment being very short. P.1-P.4 with both rami 3-segmented. Outer edges of all leg segments spinulose. P.5 in female quite variable. Base endopod of P.5 with 2 inner setae and exopod with 4 outer setae. Male antennule haplocerate. P.6 in male fused to segment, with a lateral seta.
