Description
Size: Length 10.0 – 12.0 mm. Tentacles 0.8 – 1.0 mm long.

Minute active worms with 80-100 setigerous segments. Head conical with a pair of long tentacles, 2 dark conspicuous eyes and 2 oblique nuchal organs located at the base of tentacles. Pygidium without bifurcation, anal cirri or anal lobes but with 2 glandular ventral adhesive pads. Parapodia occur from second segment backwards. Setae with expanded tips. Pharynx without ventral muscular pad. Body shows definite sculptured appearance on dorsal side. Sexes separate.

Reproductive organs complicated. Gonads develop in middle and posterior segments. Sperm sacs occur in lateral chambers of body cavity. Penis swollen in the middle with supporting cuticular rods.
