Description
Size: 3 cm.

Color: White, with alternating brown and white bands and spiral rows of brown spots, columella brown, aperture white.

Broad at the base, turreted, whorls slightly convex, base of body whorl rounded, varixes well formed on all whorls, usually at about every half turn, sculptured with numerous spiral rows of small rounded nodules on narrow spiral ribs, five primary rows on the body whorl, plus several smaller secondaries, nodules oftern aligning axially and forming 24-45 axial ribs, aperture wide, ovate, outer lip flaring, varixed, weakly crenulate, anterior canal short, tubular, oblique, posterior canal large, bordered by a strong parietal plait, columella concave, with a thick lip.
