Description
Shell somewhat disc-shaped, hinge narrow, lower valve slightly concave, upper valve slightly convex. Outer surface with concentric growth lines lamellate. Interior smooth, white, outer margin thin, rarely light brown. Adductor muscle scar nearly round, white in color, occasionally light pink blotch present towards lower part.
