Description
Colour: red, cream and brown, sometimes in mottled patterns.

Colonies are cerioid. Corallites have irregular shapes and sometimes become valleys with several centres. Polyps are fleshy when retracted. colonies may exceed 1.5 m in diameter and are conspicuous (Source: WoRMS)

Hermaphroditic, sexual, broadcast spawning.
