Description
Size: Trichomes 9-12 ┬Ám in diameter.

Cells disk-shaped, three to four times as wide as long; heterocysts isodiametric. Extracellular polysaccharides forming a firm sheath, these adhering laterally to form fascicles that are usually erect and 5-6 mm high.
