Description
Color: Pink-purple

Thalli 1-2 cm tall, regularly dichotomously branched. Branches cylindrical, sometimes anastomosing.

In longitudinal section, genicula inconspicuous, composed of central strand and cortical layer, intergenicula usually consisting of 4-5 rows of long cells, (38-) 50-80 (-95) µm, alternating with one row of short cells, 12 µm long. Sporangial conceptacles densely scattered over the surface of intergenicula, 160-180 µm inside diameter, sporangia tetrasporic.
