Description
Size: Trichomes 6-7 ┬Ám in diameter.

Cells a little longer than wide, the heterocysts slightly larger and ovate; sheaths soft and adherent, with one to several trichomes, if distinct; colonies forming a flat layer of confluent sheaths or a branched structure under some conditions.
