Size: Max length 4.6 cm SL male/unsexed; 5.8 cm SL (female)

Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12 - 15; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 17 - 21; Vertebrae: 29 - 34. Light to dark brown in color (Ref. 3991). Branchiostegal rays: 14.

Dioecious, external fertilization, nonguarders, oviparous with planktonic eggs and larvae.
