Description
Color: Light purplish red

Thalli succulent, brittle, easily broken, cylindrical, erect, 1.5-30 cm high, 1-3 mm wide, caespitose. Branches elongated, subdichotomously and usually divaricatedly branched, arising alternately or subsecundly with patent and rounded axils from unconstricted insertions, tapering to a fine apex. Cystocarps small, nutritive filaments present. Spermatangial pattern pit-like.
