Description
Color: Deep red

Plants attached firmly to rocks by discoid hodfast. Stem cartilaginous, firm, horny, 0.5 mm thick, giving out branches with dichotomous fronds. Frond flat, membranous many times dischotomously forked, fastigiate. Segments linear, up to 3 cm long, 2 mm broad; margins entire, without proliferations.
