Description
Color: Yellow brown

Thalli flabelliform, about 10-15 cm in height or more, with stout stipe, often split into several segments and covered with brownish hairs up to the middle part of the frond, lower surface incrusted slightly with chalk, somewhat whitish in color, hair lines conspicuous. The blades with wide sterile and narrow fertile zones, consisting of two layers of cells throughout the whole body except the apical margins, about 80-110 µm thick near the base and only 40-50 µm in the upper parts. Tetrasporangium obovate, 100-110 µm long, 80-90 µm broad, in sori, scattered on the middle parts in every other interpilar space, without inducium.
