Description
Color: Yellow brown

Thalli filamentous, with irregular branches, prostrate filaments entangled with each other at the base of the thalli. The erect filaments about 8-15 mm in height, composed of 4-5 seriate cells, main filaments about 60-70 µm diameter, near the apical end about 50 µm diameter, segments about 55-60 µm in height, shorter than their breadth, nearly square. Branches usually narrowed at their base, hairs abundant in the lateral portions of the filaments, about 15-16 µm diameter. Propagula about 110-127 µm long, 90-105 µm broad, corner cells of the propagula divided by a transverse wall into two cells, one above the other. Plurangia cylindrical, about 40-45 µm diameter, 55-65 µm long with a unicellular short stalk at the base, sometimes opposite. Unangia spherical, 65-75 µm diameter, each on a unicellular stalk, sometimes two urangia on a short stalk.
