Description
Size: Length 15-70 microns. Width 2.5-5 microns. Stria 28-40/10 microns. Fibulae 9-17/10 microns.

The raphe runs along the edge of this diatom, supported by the fibulae (the dark objects at the bottom of the valve). The stria are normally too fine too see.
