Description
Thallus forma and type: Bushy with triangular shaped branches
Substratum: Intertidal rocks
Occurrence: lower mid littoral zone
Season: November -April
Abundance: Scanty
Plants dark brown in color, 30 cm in height or more, sparsely branched, pseudo-dichotomously branched articulated, triangular articulation narrow at the base, 3-5 mm broad, margin dentate, vesicles ellipsoid or oblong, embedded in the middles of swollen wings, solitary.
