Size: 51 cm.

Color: Color when preserved, head and body yellowish tan; all fin membranes hyaline. Very slightly pigmented on upper part of anterior dorsal fin membranes.

Body extremely elongated, ribbon-like. Top of supraoccipital crest situated vertically above posterior margin of eye. Posterior margin of preopercle clearly visible because clearly projected externally, but anterior margin of preopercle not clear. First anal fin spine base situated below 32nd-35th dorsal fin ray base. Dorsal spines (total): 3; dorsal soft rays (total): 127-131; anal spines: 1; anal soft rays: 101-106; vertebrae: 149-153.
