Description
Color: Dull green or pale blue-green
Thalli 150-300 µm in length, small, solitary or aggregate on other algae. Filaments 7-10 µm in diameter, decumbent at the base. Sheath hyaline, thin close. Trichome 4.5-7 µm in diameter, slightly bulbous at the base. Cells 2.5-5 µm in length, cross walls slightly constricted, heterocyst basal, generally spherical.
