Description
Color: Dull purplish red or yellow greenish

Thalli erect, 2-5 cm high, irregularly branched, branches compressed, the lower axes attaching with each other by means of hapteriod disc, forming gregarious shrubby mats. Setaceous branches entangled, ending in blunt apices. Tetrasporangia cruciately divided in the apical swollen part of the branchlets.
