Description
Plants about 3 dm tall, fleshy-cartilaginous; terete throughout, the elongated main axis radially branched, the branches spreading, in the middle parts about 4-8 cm long, beset with simple or forked aculeate branchlets, particularly secund on the outside of incurved branches.
