Description
Color: Dark green

Thallus form and type: Remiform and feathery

Substratum: Intertidal rocks, coralline stones

Occurrence: Mid and lower littoral zone, shallow tide pools

Season; November-March

Plants large tufts of 4-9 cm height, fronds erect, feather like, 7 mm wide, consisting of cluster of simple or branched axis measuring 300 μm broad at base, 450 μm at the middle and 240 μm towards the apex, rhizoids elongated, lower part of the axis naked, ramuli small, cylindrical, 110-180 μm broad, 1.5-2 mm long, distichously or rarely unilaterally disposed on the frond, apex obtuse, constricted at the base.
