Description
Large woody climbing shrubs, branches wiry, strong, lenticellate. Leaves imparipinnate, 6-15 cm long; leaflets 5-10 x 2-3.5 cm ovate-oblong, acute at apex, rounded at base, shining. Flowers, white, 4-6 cm across, in axillary racemes. Pods 3-4 cm, flat, nar­rowly winged along the suture, one seeded. The species can be identified by its one seeded papery pods.

Flowering and fruiting during June -September, April-September (West Bengal), March-September (Orissa).
