Description
Size: 15 to 20 cm tall.

Color: Brownish-red

Thallus form and type: Bushy and leathery

Substratum: Intertidal rocks, calcareous substrata

Occurrence: Lower mid littoral zone, tide pools

Season: November-April

Abundance: Scanty

Plants are bushy; polydichotomously, irregularly and sometimes pinnately branched with thin and brittle fronds; margins proliferous.
