Description
Size: Height 20-25 cm or more.

Color: Yellowish brown

Plants characteristically cone-shaped, of moderate size. Basal portion formed of branched heptron. Upper portion radially organized, monopodially branched. Axes of the plant 2-2.5 mm thick, cylindrical and glabrous. Leaves peltate about 1 cm long and 5-8 mm broad at the apices; margins sinuately dentate. Vesicles originating from the junction of the stalk and lamina, the former obconical, measuring 2-3 mm in length and 2 mm in breadth.

Receptacles richly branched, forming corymbose clusters, more or less cylindrical, provided with oogonial and antheridial conceptacles.
