Description
Size: Height 1-2 cm.

Color: Brownish

Plants forming tufts; basal portion formed of irregularly branched rhizoids. Erect system more or less richly branched irregularly. Branches differentiated into laterals of unlimited and limited growth; the latter frequently modified into long colorless hairs. Cells of the main axis longitudinally divided 12 times. Propagules richly present, broad wedge-shaped, more or less shortly stalked, with three arms, i.e. triradiate. Plants bearing only unilocular sporangia, the latter ovoid.
