Description
Color: Brownish

Plants 1-3 cm in height, forming epiphytic tufts. Basal portion rhizoidal, often penetrating the tissue of the host. Upper portion erect, more or less richly branched irregularly; branches ending into long colorless hairs. Cells of the main axis one to three times longitudinally divided, richly provided with chromatophores. Propagules stalked, slender, biradiate. Stalk of the propagules narrow at the base, cylindrical above, 150-400 µ long and 16-26 µ broad. Arms 160-180 µ long. Plants bearing unilocular sporangia, the latter shortly stalked, 30-50 µ long and 12-22 µ broad, more or less spherical in shape.
