Size: Valves 129.5 μm long, 3.8 μm broad.

Color: Yellow brown in color, not green.

Frustules united together to form long bands, linear, ends gradually tapering and rounded, very slightly capitate in valve view, pseudoraphe linear.

Reproduction both sexual and asexual.
